WATCH THE TUTORIAL πŸ₯³

If you are new to the Fleek Light and would like to know how add a new client and take a successful scan to load their default AI brows, please watch the video below.

READ THE MANUAL πŸ“–

After watching the tutorial above, please see below for a useful manual guide to refresh the learned concepts!

To start a scan, please follow the steps below:

Tiara Guidelines

  • Put the tiara on and have it rest near the middle of the forehead.

  • The tiara should be placed almost horizontally, like a tiara, not angled like a hairband.

  • Ensure there are no hair / bangs covering the tiara or the face / brows. Clip loose hair back if necessary.

Add a New Client

  1. On your Fleek Light, on the main page, where you see the client list, add a new client by clicking the "+" symbol.

  2. Enter the client details. Each field is not mandatory, but the information you add will be added to the Artist App.

  3. Once the client is added, you'll see their name appear on the list. If the list is long, you can either scroll to find their name or search for it.

  4. Click on the client to enter the scan.

  5. You should now see two rectangles and some text projected. It's normal for the rectangles to not be perfectly aligned.

Take a Scan

Alignment screen - this screen projects two rectangles

  1. Ask the client to rest their chin in the middle of the chin rest. Guide them to have a neutral tilt to their head, not tilting either back or forward.

  2. Tilt the lamp upward so the rectangles are projected on to their face.

  3. Make sure the light on the mirror is turned on. If it's off, tap the logo on the mirror with your finger to turn it on.

  4. Guide them to not turn their head to one side or another - they should be looking straight forward, parallel to the mirror.

    FACE ROTATED TOO LEFT

Client's face is rotated too much to the left.

    FACE ROTATED TOO RIGHT

Client's face is rotated too much to the right.

    CORRECT

Client's face is facing straight forward, parallel to the mirror.

  5. Align the rectangles so that the TOP LINES of the rectangles are ABOVE the black square tiara codes, not below or through the codes. And the BOTTOM LINES of the rectangles are well BELOW the eyes.

    LAMP TILTED TOO LOW

Top lines of rectangles are on or below the black square tiara codes. They should be above the black square tiara codes.

    LAMP TILTED TOO HIGH

Bottom lines of rectangles are on or above the eyes. They should be well below the eyes.

    CORRECT

Top lines of the rectangles are above the black square tiara codes. Bottom lines of the rectangles are well below the eyes.

  6. Align the two vertical lines in the middle to the center of their face, eg. down their nose. You may need to swing the lamp left or right a little bit to achieve this.

    LAMP TILTED TOO LEFT

Tilt lamp towards the right until two vertical lines are centered down the nose.

    LAMP TILTED TOO RIGHT

Tilt lamp towards the left until two vertical lines are centered down the nose.

    CORRECT

Lamp is correctly positioned since the vertical lines are centered down the middle of the face.

  7. Make sure the "Adjust focus until clear" text on each side of the face is in clear focus. If they are not, adjust the focus dials on either side of the lamp until the text is clear and no longer fuzzy.

  8. Left click the mouse to proceed to the next screen

Selfie screen - this screen projects "Look into the mirror"

  1. Ask the client to look into the mirror. Then left click the mouse. This will take a picture of them so make sure they have their eyes open and instruct them to not move between this step and the next step.

Scan screen - this screen projects "Now close your eyes"

  1. Ask your client to close their eyes, then left click the mouse again to start the scan. The client must remain still and not open their eyes during the scan, otherwise the scan won't work properly.

  2. There will be flashing lights for about 10 seconds. Talk to your client guiding them to keep still and have their eyes remained close and that you'll tell them when to open.

  3. After the lights stop flashing, you may instruct your client to open their eyes and the default brows should populate within a few seconds. Note, on weaker wifi connections, the brows can take longer to appear.

You're now ready to start designing the brows.
