WATCH THE TUTORIAL 🥳

If you are new to the Fleek Light and would like to know how add a new client and take a successful scan to load their default AI brows, please watch the video below.

READ THE MANUAL 📖

After watching the tutorial above, please see below for a useful manual guide to refresh the learned concepts!

To start a scan, please follow the steps below:

Put on Head Band

  • Ask your client to put on the head band to pull pack their hair or bangs so that it is not covering their face or the tiara codes.

Put on Tiara

  • Put the tiara on and have it rest near the middle of the forehead.

  • The tiara should be placed almost horizontally, like a tiara, not angled like a hairband.

  • Ensure there are no hair / bangs covering the tiara or the face / brows. Use the head band or clip loose hair back if necessary.

Add a New Client

  1. On your Fleek Light, on the main page, where you see the client list, add a new client by clicking the "+" symbol.

  2. Enter the client details. Each field is not mandatory, but the information you add will be added to the Fleek web app. Click on the arrow to proceed.

  3. You should now see four rectangles and some text projected. It's normal for the rectangles to not be perfectly aligned.

If you've previously already created a profile for your client, you'll see their name appear on the list in the home screen. If the list is long, you can either scroll to find their name or search for it.

Take a Scan

Alignment screen - this screen projects four rectangles

  1. Ask the client to rest their chin in the middle of the chin rest. Guide them to have a neutral tilt to their head, not tilting either back or forward.

  2. Tilt the lamp upward so the rectangles are projected on the tiara codes. You may have to readjust the client's sitting position to get the projected white rectangles to line up with the tiara codes.

  3. Make sure the light on the mirror is turned on. If it's off, tap the logo on the mirror with your finger to turn it on.

  4. Guide them to not turn their head to one side or another - they should be looking straight forward, parallel to the mirror. You may also swing the lamp left and right or up and down to help with this alignment.

FACE ROTATED TOO LEFT

Client's face is rotated too much to the left.

FACE ROTATED TOO RIGHT

Client's face is rotated too much to the right.

LAMP TILTED TOO LOW

The four tiara codes must be fully covered by the four projected white rectangles. Tilt lamp upwards.

LAMP TILTED TOO HIGH

The four tiara codes must be fully covered by the four projected white rectangles. Tilt lamp downwards.

CORRECT

Client's face is facing straight forward, parallel to the mirror. All four tiara codes are covered by the four projected white rectangles.

  1. Make sure the "Adjust focus until clear" text on each side of the face is in clear focus. If they are not, adjust the focus dials on either side of the lamp until the text is clear and no longer fuzzy.

  2. Left click the mouse to proceed to the next screen

Selfie screen - this screen projects "Look straight into the mirror"

  1. Ask the client to look into the mirror. Then left click the mouse. This will take a picture of them so make sure they have their eyes open and instruct them to not move between this step and the next step.

Center scan screen - this screen projects "Now close your eyes"

  1. Ask your client to close their eyes, then left click the mouse again to start the first scan. The client must remain still and not open their eyes during the scan, otherwise the scan won't work properly.

  2. There will be flashing lights for a few seconds. Talk to your client guiding them to keep still and have their eyes remained close and that you'll tell them when to open.

Right scan screen - this screen projects "Turn left"

  1. After the lights stop flashing, you may instruct your client to open their eyes.

  2. They should now turn 45 degrees towards their left. You can also ask them to face the left camera on the machine if that's easier. Make sure the four tiara codes are fully covered by the four projected white squares.

  3. Ask them to close their eyes, then left click the mouse to take the second scan.

Left scan screen - this screen projects "Turn right"

  1. After the lights stop flashing, you may instruct your client to open their eyes.

  2. They should now turn 45 degrees towards the right. You can also ask them to face the right camera on the machine if that's easier. Make sure the four tiara codes are fully covered by the four projected white squares.

  3. Ask them to close their eyes, then left click the mouse to take the third scan.

  4. After the lights stop flashing, you may instruct your client to open their eyes. They can turn forward again towards the middle camera then the default brows should populate within a few seconds. Note, on weaker wifi connections, the brows can take longer to appear.

You're now ready to start designing the brows.
