READ THE MANUAL 📖

STEP 1 | Assemble your Fleek Light

Unpack the contents of your Fleek Light box.

  1. Use the allen key to fasten the Fleek Light lamp to the base plate.

  2. Plug the black wifi USB dongle into a USB slot.

  3. Plug the white USB dongle at the bottom of the mouse into a USB slot.

  4. Plug the power cable and flip the switch on to turn on the machine.

  5. Turn on your mouse and you will see three green lights on top. If your mouse isn’t charged, charge it for 1 hour with the included white charging cable.

STEP 2 | Calibrate your Fleek Light

Next we'll calibrate your machine to get its best performance.

  1. Unscrew the screw on the chin rest and thread it through the bottom of the plate. Now put the wooden stand through the screw, then place the calibration board into the slot so the black tags are facing the machine. Make sure that your tiara is not in front of the machine as the codes on the tiara will interfere with the calibration.

  2. Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner then click the Calibrate button. If the screen is blurry, adjust the focus gears on either sides of the machine until it is clear.

  3. Click once more to get to step 1 of the 14 calibration steps. Make sure your board is facing forward and centered to the stand. Left click and you'll see a white rectangle appear. If at any point you double clicked too fast and miss a step, double click the scroll wheel on the mouse to restart.

STEP 1

Adjust the lamp so that the projected white rectangle lines up as much as possible to the inside of the black rectangle on the board.

Once it's in alignment, we will take an image by left clicking, then left clicking again to proceed to the next step, i.e. we will left click twice after each step moving forward.

STEP 2

Rotate the board counterclockwise about 45 degrees until the rectangle lines up again. You can slightly adjust the lamp position as needed.]

STEP 3

Rotate the board clockwise 90 degrees until the rectangle lines up.

STEP 4

Keeping the board where it is, tilt the lamp downwards until the rectangle lines up.

STEP 5

Rotate the board counterclockwise 45 degrees back to the center position to line up the rectangle.

STEP 6

Rotate the board counterclockwise 45 degrees again until the rectangle lines up.

STEP 7

Now we’re done with the first half of the calibration.

Pick up the board from the base and flip it over so the white side is facing the machine, and put it back centered in the stand. You should see that the black rectangle is more or less lined up with the white rectangle. You can turn the board slightly to align it better. It doesn’t need to fit perfectly, try to get it to fit as much as possible. If anything on the screen is not sharp in focus, adjust the gears on either side of the machine until it is.

STEP 8

Rotate your board clockwise 90 degrees until the rectangles line up.

STEP 9

Keeping the board in the same position, tilt your lamp upward until the rectangles align.

STEP 10

Rotate your board counterclockwise 90 degrees until the rectangles align.

STEP 11

You do not have to move the board in this step but may have to adjust the lamp slightly so all the black codes are visible on the board.

STEP 12

Rotate the board clockwise 90 degrees to align the rectangles.

STEP 13

Keeping the board in the same position, tilt your lamp back down until the rectangles align.

STEP 14

Rotate the board counterclockwise 90 degrees

Now you have completed the calibration. Pick up the board from the stand and flip it around so we can test the calibration accuracy. Left click again and you should see a red and a green rectangle projected on the board. The more accurate the calibration, the more they will overlap, making a yellow rectangle. Move your board around to see how well the projection follows.

This is an example of a bad calibration. The red and green doesn't overlap well into a yellow color.

This can result in your brows to be misaligned down the middle.

We recommend you recalibrating and taking your time with each step. This is an example of a good calibration.

You won’t have to recalibrate again if you are not going to move your machine. Remember you can always test your machine’s current calibration with the board by clicking the test calibration button on the bottom right of the settings page.

Now we can remove the calibration board and stand from the screw, and install the chin rest with the allen key.

STEP 3 | Register your account on the Fleek App

  1. Check the email you used to purchase your Fleek Light for an email with a temporary password.

  2. Go to app.fleekpmu.com to enter your credentials.

  3. You will be prompted to add a payment method for your subscription, change your password, and complete your basic information.

Your 30 day free trial begins from the time you take your first client scan on your Fleek Light.

Your subscription fee each month will depend on the number of clients you've created that month.

You can change between the Monthly Plan and Annual Unlimited Plan anytime in the Payment section of your Fleek App. Changes will take effect after your current billing cycle.

All new clients you add from your Fleek Light can be found in your Fleek App. You can upload additional pictures and appointment to each client profile.

You can search and reuse any client profile for that client's consultation, procdure, and touchup appointments.

STEP 4 | Login to your Fleek Light

  1. Click on the wifi icon to connect to your internet network. If you don’t see your network, click the refresh symbol at the top.

  2. Once connected you can double click the wheel on the mouse to return to the previous screen (you double click the wheel to return to the previous page anytime you are using the machine.)

  3. Enter your email and password to login.

  4. Click on the Settings icon. If there is a new update available, your machine will automatically start downloading it. Once it is downloaded, the update button will appear. You can click on this to install the latest software upgrade.

STEP 5 | Ideal places to put your Fleek Light

It’s ideal to use the Fleek Light on a table where you can move a stool to either side of the client for design and tracing. Consider a table that is 1.5 - 2 feet in diameter for the best experience.

Don’t seat your clients where there’s bright lights behind them such as windows. This can contribute to bad scans. It’s best to seat a client where they’re facing the bright lighting, with a wall or no bright lights behind them.

For seating, we recommend an adjustable chair or stool for your client so they can comfortably rest their chin on the chin rest regardless of their height. For seating for yourself, we also suggest a rolling stool for more mobility.

You're now ready to Scan a New Client 🙌
