Overview

The main screen in Designer is made up of the Tool Bar and the Canvas.

Eye covers

Two eye covers can be dragged and dropped over your client's eyes to block light from shining directly in their eyes.

Move tool

When the Move tool is selected, the canvas can be picked up (click and hold) and dragged around.

It is advised to pick up the canvas and align the anchor point to the client's cupid's bow.

Scale tool

When the Scale tool is selected, the canvas can be scaled bigger or smaller around the anchor point by scrolling your mouse.

It is advised to scale the canvas so the pink horizontal line is lined up to the client's eyes.

Tilt tool

When the Tilt tool is selected, the canvas can be picked up (click and hold) and tilted from side to side around the anchor point.

It is advised to use this tool if your client has an eye level that is tilted.

Brow points

To move the brow points, ensure no icons are selected on the toolbar. If a tool is selected, click the selected icon to deselect it.

There are 5 brow points for each brow, the two starting points (blue) the two arch points (red) and the one end point (green).

You can move these points simply by dragging and dropping.

For finer control, you can hover over a point and scroll the mouse wheel to move it up and down.

Brow handles

Brow handles are yellow points on either sides of brow points. They can be dragged and dropped to change the curvature of the brow segment.

Hide

To better visualize the brow shape on your client, you can select the Hide button to hide everything except the brows.

If your brow design has undesired characteristics, warning messages will pop up.

Lock

When your client agrees on the shape, click on the Lock button to lock in the design, no further changes can be made.

Landmark dots will appear. Trace these dots on your client first so they can watch the dots during the tracing to keep themselves in alignment.

You can also trace with only the brows visible if it is preferred.

New

When a new client arrives and you're ready to start a new Immersive Design Consultation, click on the New button and the canvas will reset.

Asymmetry mode

If your client has very asymmetrical features, you may need to enter Asymmetry mode to make changes to only one side of the mapping.

If you wish to return back to Symmetry mode, you can only choose to keep one side.

Mirror mode

If you would like to sit in the client's seat and practice on yourself in the mirror, you can select Mirror mode in the Settings dropdown. This will invert the cursor to make it easier for you while looking in the mirror.

Golden ratio mode

Designer has the golden ratio built in, which keeps a golden ratio between the start (blue) points, the top arch (red) point, and the end (green) point.

This function can be turned off in the Settings dropdown.
